Skyburner's Oath is 100% deserving of it's Exotic title. It can fire volleys of small tracking missles, and it can fire a super slow but high damaging round at a decent pace. Two fire modes, increased damage against Cabal, the ability to penetrate Phalanax (might've spelled that wrong) shields, etc.

A: Upgrading your weapons, in broad terms, takes a small amount of glimmer, legendary shards, and, most importantly, Enhancement Cores. Depending on what Tier your weapon is at, the requirements to raise it to the next tier increase the closer the weapon is to being fully masterworked (Tier 10).Skyburner's scorch is absolutely pitiful, It should apply more scorch so you could ignite with less shots. Currently it literally only does 2 scorch per shot. Meaning you can't ignite even shooting 2 entire mags! 40 scorch per the whole mag. With ember of ashes it goes to 3.. which is still shit. Other options are Staccato-46 and Strident Whistle. Exotics that have intrinsic Scorch are Promotheus Lens, Skyburner's Oath and Jotunn (with Catalyst).
