As far as calling to SXM, Verizon charges .50 a minute from US. All incomming calls to SXM from US to a local rental cell phone are free to the receiver. Verizon only works on the Durtch side and runs around 1.29 a min. If you are using WIFI at a resort your charges include the access with out any need of phone charges.

If the recipient has a forwarding address in Miami (we do) it is fed xed to SXM a couple times a week. VERY expensive to receive anything that doesn't fit in an envelope. The way there (to Anguilla) is seamless and easy. We got off of our Delta flight and were on the AAS plane within 15 minutes at the most. Re: SXM airport to marigot ferry terminal. I might do it a little differently than what you have planned. I would use St Louis Rental Car in lieu of Budget. Just Google them up and you can call or e-mail a reservation. Marius - who owns the company- will meet you at the airport and have your car waiting.
