Dodge durango intermittent starting problem.

I got it to start and run for about 3 seconds but then it turned itself off. I found a way to start it on this site by putting it to run mode and then starting it, that works okay but if I paid 27k for a car it needs to work as intended. Check all the connections between the starter and battery. You could also check voltage drop when you engage the starter, both at the battery and also on the starter motor lead. Got a 2017 Dodge Durango that keeps getting misfire on cylinder 3 and this has continued after replacing plugs, coils and also flipping the injector from 3 to 4 nothing has cured it. Mar 6, 2017 · My guess is the pump is the issue. Repop pumps, like sensors and thermostats, aren't very good. Try priming it by pressing the start button with no brake for a few seconds. Then if it starts with the brake / Start button then it's the fuel pump not holding it's pressure.
