HELP!!! 04 KFX 50 wont start. My wife's nephew has got a KFX 50 that used to run great. The other day he was riding it and jumping humps in his yard and he hit one hump pretty hard and the carb came of the neck on it. Put it back on and now it wont start, doesn't even try, even with starting fluid. Dec 19, 2010 · The big issue with these this time of the year is people using the wrong oil for the engine oil injection pump and it clogging up the works so they do not want to run until they are very warm. If you notice oil leaking from your ATV then it is largely due to; Overfilled oil. Damaged oil filter or plug.Pull the spark arrestor out, you can either soak it in carb/combustion chamber cleaner or what I have found to work really well is to heat it up with a propane torch, then wire brush the build up off. I have a 2008 Kawasaki KFX 450r. It is all stock except for a lexx slip-on exhaust. It is running hot to the point my exhaust head pipe is glowing red up to the bend and at some points all the way around the bend. Being fuel injected im not sure what would be makng it run so hot.First start by removing the left side black plastic running boards. Then remove the kick starter bolt, and pull off the kick starter. Next remove these 8 bolts that hold the clutch cover in place. Set the cover to the side. No, the kfx90 is a Kymco. The kfx80 was a Suzuki. The new kfx90 is a four stroke. Kawasaki is no longer in bed with Suzuki so they do not sell the kfx80 or 50 anymore.
