My choice was Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. This was my first experience with this restaurant chain in years.. My order consisted of the 4Pc Signature Chicken Combo - Classic. I opted for two sides, regular Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy, and a Coleslaw. It was overall disappointing. The chicken was dry, and the coating fell off in large sheets.
The food is very good. The best fried chicken sandwich period! The restaurant is new and very clean. But like every other Popeyes in the area, the employees are rude and and mix up orders, while the wait time in line in the store is 15-20 minutes. Tack on another 10minutes or more to get your order. Popeyes is the bomb! Chicken is always cooked perfect, the sides are all ok ( could be a little better ) the one thing I miss from Popeyes is collard greens! I used to always get them years ago when I first had Popeyes at the location of Martin Luther King Ave in Portland OR.
